I went to see Cats in Boston on Tuesday. What a great cast! All pretty young, but very good, especially Tumblebrutus, Bombalurina and Jellyorum/Griddlebone. I've never seen such a young Jellyorum before, but the woman playing her had such an amazing voice that it didn't really matter.

In fact she was so good she inspired another piece of fan art :-)

Victoria, the white cat

This image was created with the help of my all new Cats soundtrack! I finally figured out a way to get the soundtrack off the DVD- record it through my speakers onto cassette. It's a bit muffled and quiet...well it's far from perfect, but it's better than nothing, and at least now I can listen to it without family and friends moaning about having the DVD on constantly.
*sigh*
When will they just release it on CD?

Magical, marvellous Mr. Mistoffelees-

This Mistoffelees is having a bit of a wardrobe crisis. He has still has his Quaxo arm warmers on! Never mind, I think he looks cuter that way.
I tried to make him look friendly and inquisitive, but actually he looks a bit smug here. I would be too, with singular magical powers at my disposal.

Bombalurina, also in human style. I experimented with the colouring on this one, adding texture with ink and pencil before I scanned it in and then colouring on multiple layers and opacitys on Photoshop.
Heh, it doesn't show up too well this small though. Curse you photobucket!
